The Entrepreneur Of The Year® campaign I developed included creating the concept “Business. To the Extreme.” The campaign juxtaposed business wear with extreme sports gear to communicate the edge and risk in the world of entrepreneurs.

I directed a series of commissioned images to play up the theme, including a business suit beside mountain climbing gear, a briefcase with a backpack, and a wine glass with a water bottle for the gala event. Going black and white with the images created a formal elegance fitting the event, and an inline spot varnish was applied to the “extreme” side of the images for added impact. The campaign extended across ads, brochures, forms, the website, pocket folders and gala event items.

  • Cream paper effect A light cream was printed behind the images for a classic look, while select areas of the images like the shirt colour showed the white of the paper for extra pop.
